Process and Data Quality Manager (m/f/d) Controlling

Data quality increasingly determines whether decisions across the company rest on solid ground. For this newly created position in Controlling, we are looking for someone who does more than analyze data quality: someone who shapes it sustainably and across departmental boundaries, reporting directly into executive management with real room to make an impact.

Process and Data Quality Manager (m/f/d) Controlling

• Analyze master data, transactional data, and interfaces across all departments to establish the current state of data quality.
• Cleanse and validate data in SAP together with the specialist departments and IT.
• Build KPI-based data quality reporting and present the results to executive management on a regular basis.
• Define clear standards for data domains such as material, customer, equipment, HR, and finance, covering rules, responsibilities, and measurement points.
• Identify weaknesses in existing processes and develop suitable solutions together with the specialist departments, IT, and Controlling.
• Establish clear data governance structures to ensure consistent, binding data standards, including at our subsidiaries.

• A degree in business administration, business informatics, or a comparable qualification.
• Several years of experience in end-to-end process management as well as in data quality or controlling, gained at a larger mid-sized company, ideally in an industrial environment.
• Familiarity with common process management methods and tools (e.g. BPMN, Lean, or similar); SAP knowledge is an advantage.
• Business-fluent German and English (C1 level each), both written and spoken.
• When different departments start out with differing views, you stay persistent in implementing shared standards while finding the diplomatic tone that brings everyone along.
• You enjoy diving deep into complex data structures without ever losing sight of the bigger commercial picture, and a stubborn problem doesn't easily throw you off balance.
