Working Student (m/f/d) Pricing & Data Analytics in Spare Parts Management

Hako GmbH - Unternehmenszentrale Bad Oldesloe
Part-time
Intern / Student

Your mission

In our Customer Service spare parts business, the numbers decide how well we support our customers throughout the entire life of their machine — from pricing an individual spare part to the full-service contract that takes maintenance worries off their hands. That is exactly where you come in: you turn revenue, cost, and price data into solid analyses that show where the potential lies. Together with your colleagues, you translate those findings into decisions — and take on topics of your own, step by step.

For our Customer Service department at our Bad Oldesloe location, we are looking for someone to join us at the earliest possible date on a fixed-term basis (through September 30, 2027), part-time (16 hours per week), as a

Working Student (m/f/d) Pricing & Data Analytics in Spare Parts Management

Your tasks

  • Analyses of the spare parts business — for example, revenue by sales channel and region — and identifying revenue and margin potential.
  • Simulations of price changes and their effects on revenue and earnings.
  • Project support for recalculating full-service rates: preparing cost and consumption data and translating it into the monthly customer rate.
  • Smaller projects of your own, such as a competitive analysis including price calculations, along with presenting the results within Customer Service.
  • Support with spare parts pricing, documentation, and improving master data quality.
  • Contributing to the rollout of process standards in operations and monitoring how well they are followed.

Your profile

  • Current enrollment in a business administration, economics, or industrial engineering program, ideally paired with an interest in technical products.
  • Initial practical experience from internships or a working student position in a commercial or technical environment is an advantage.
  • Strong MS Office skills, particularly confident use of Excel including formulas and pivot analyses. Experience with Excel/VBA or AI-supported analysis is a plus.
  • German at C1 level or above and strong English, both written and spoken.
  • Numbers are more than rows in a spreadsheet to you: you spot patterns, question results, and prepare them so that others can work with them.
  • You bring initiative: you get up to speed on new topics independently, grow beyond pure research, and present your findings to colleagues yourself.
